BI Developer (Power BI)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, a mission-driven organization in Waltham, MA is seeking a BI Developer (Power BI). Your work will directly support meaningful business outcomes. Responsibilities include:
* Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports using certified datasets and established BI standards
* Work with stakeholders to define requirements, KPIs, data needs, and report structure
* Conduct user acceptance testing and incorporate feedback before deployment
* Monitor reports for performance and data quality issues and escalate as needed
* Develop and maintain K2 SmartForms, including form layouts, business logic, workflow routing, and SQL-based integrations
* Partner with Applications leadership on project priorities, timelines, testing, and deployment
* Maintain documentation and user guides for forms and workflows
* Serve as a primary point of contact for business users regarding BI and application solutions
* Identify opportunities to improve reporting and workflows based on user feedback
* Collaborate with BI and Data Analytics teams to ensure alignment with certified datasets and data governance standards

REQUIREMENTS:
* Two or more years of experience in BI development
* Proficiency with Power BI
* Proficiency with SQL and relational databases, including the ability to troubleshoot data and distinguish database operations from reporting logic
* Knowledge of user-facing forms or workflow applications such as K2 SmartForms
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
