IT Procurement Specialist 2 for Austin, TX onsite job
Job Description
Review and editing of requirements documents including the statements of work.
Advise IT Business Area SMEs and Demand team members on best practices and standards from the VMSC team on document and process requirements.
Conduct vendor outreach for SWDS solution request demands, including fielding questions and coordinating responses from client to vendor clarifications.
Gather and provide vendor solution responses to the review teams and determine the overall ranking of solution responses.
Upon approval of the solution response, create and route work orders for dual signatures, then share results with the selected vendor and inform other vendors of non-selection.
Assist with the replacement contract solicitation process, including document revisions and assistance with transition/disentanglement activities in support of the primary Vendor Manager.
Contribute to the development of new replacement contract documentation edits as required.
Minimum Yrs of Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
5 - 7 years of experience with the state of Texas IT procurement of goods and services.
5 - 7 years of requirements gathering experience for capturing and leading SMEs to identifying requirements.
5 - 7 years of experience working cross-functionally within an IT organization.
5 - 7 years of documentation writing experience
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Familiar with State of Texas IT Contracting and Procurement rules and regulations.
