Our client is seeking multiple Technical Writers (Developer Documentation) to create and manage developer-facing documentation for machine learning platforms and frameworks. This role will partner closely with engineering teams to translate complex ML and AI concepts into clear, structured, and user-friendly documentation. The ideal candidate has strong experience in developer documentation, information architecture, and ML/AI technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain developer documentation including guides, tutorials, and API references
• Translate complex ML/AI concepts into clear, accurate, and accessible content
• Define and structure information architecture across multiple platform components
• Collaborate with engineering teams to build technical understanding and ensure accuracy
• Create content for workflows such as onboarding, optimization, and troubleshooting
• Ensure consistency in terminology, style, and documentation standards
• Manage multiple documentation projects and meet tight deadlines
• Support documentation for product launches and developer-focused initiatives

Requirements:

• Experience writing developer-facing documentation for ML/AI platforms or tools
• Strong understanding of machine learning concepts (e.g., model optimization, quantization, inference)
• Familiarity with ML frameworks and tools (e.g., PyTorch, ONNX, Core ML)
• Experience documenting APIs, SDKs, and developer workflows
• Strong skills in information architecture and content organization
• Ability to collaborate with engineering teams and translate technical concepts clearly
• Strong communication, organization, and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

Preferred:

• Experience supporting developer conferences or launch-driven documentation cycles
• Familiarity with Python-based ML workflows and tooling

Hourly rate is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by WorkGenius.
