Description
We are looking for a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. In this role, you will focus on ensuring the security of cloud-based systems and applications, leveraging your expertise in Microsoft Azure, Zero Trust principles, and advanced security technologies. This position offers an opportunity to play a vital role in protecting sensitive data and maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and address security alerts in Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Sentinel, and Azure Security Center.
Configure and manage identity and access controls using Azure Active Directory, role-based access management, and multi-factor authentication.
Implement and enforce security controls, ensuring systems align with industry frameworks and compliance standards.
Analyze security logs and investigate alerts to support threat detection and incident response.
Secure virtual networks and endpoints within Azure environments.
Deploy and manage encryption strategies, to protect sensitive data.
Assist with security audits, cloud risk assessments, and compliance evaluations.
Collaborate with senior engineers to enhance security measures and respond to emerging threats.
Optimize firewall technologies and policies to strengthen network defenses.
Contribute to the development and improvement of cybersecurity policies and procedures.
Requirements
A minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, including Azure Stack and Azure Sentinel.
Strong knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and cloud security practices.
Familiarity with SIEM tools and threat detection methodologies.
Experience with firewall administration and network security technologies.
Understanding of data encryption techniques and application security.
Comptia Security+ certification or equivalent credentials.
Ability to analyze and respond to security incidents with precision and efficiency.
