Are you a dynamic, analytical thinker with a knack for investigation and negotiation? Our organization is seeking a Consulting Workers Comp Claims Adjuster on a contract basis. This role will be instrumental in handling and resolving complex workers compensation claims. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in workers compensation claims adjustment, with a proven track record of successful negotiation and settlement. Responsibilities:
As a Consulting Workers Comp Claims Adjuster, your primary duties will include:
1. Conducting thorough investigations of workers compensation claims, including reviewing medical records, interviewing claimants and witnesses, and assessing property damage.
2. Negotiating and settling claims in a fair and equitable manner, ensuring that all parties are satisfied with the outcome.
3. Collaborating with attorneys, medical professionals, and other stakeholders to facilitate the resolution of claims.
4. Documenting all claim activity accurately and comprehensively in the claims management system.
5. Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices in workers compensation claims adjustment.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Consulting Workers Comp Claims Adjuster position will possess the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in workers compensation claims adjustment, with a focus on investigation and negotiation/settlement.
3. Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively manage difficult conversations and achieve positive outcomes.
6. A high level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

8. The ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
