Job Title: Sr. Data Center Program Manager

Job Summary
WWT is seeking a highly experienced Sr. Data Center Program Manager to lead strategic enterprise data center initiatives, including infrastructure modernization, migration, consolidation, cloud transformation, and new data center deployments. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience managing complex infrastructure programs across global environments while partnering with executive leadership, engineering teams, vendors, and customers to ensure successful program delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale enterprise data center programs from initiation through successful delivery.
- Develop and execute program roadmaps, implementation strategies, budgets, schedules, and governance plans.
- Manage multiple cross-functional infrastructure projects involving compute, storage, networking, virtualization, cloud, and security.
- Drive data center migration, consolidation, expansion, refresh, and modernization initiatives.
- Coordinate with solution architects, infrastructure engineers, cloud teams, facilities, security, procurement, and business stakeholders.
- Provide executive-level program reporting, dashboards, risk assessments, and financial updates.
- Identify project risks, dependencies, issues, and mitigation strategies while ensuring timely resolution.
- Oversee vendor management, contract deliverables, procurement activities, and third-party engagements.
- Ensure compliance with IT governance, security standards, change management, and operational processes.
- Lead steering committee meetings and communicate project status to executive leadership.
- Drive continuous process improvements and operational excellence across infrastructure programs.
- Mentor project managers and coordinate delivery across multiple workstreams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 12+ years of IT Infrastructure/Data Center experience.
- 8+ years of Program Management experience leading enterprise infrastructure initiatives.
- Proven experience managing multi-million-dollar infrastructure programs.
- Strong expertise in enterprise data center technologies including:
- Servers (Cisco UCS, Dell, HPE)
- Enterprise Storage (NetApp, Dell EMC, Pure Storage)
- Networking (Cisco Nexus, Arista, Juniper)
- Virtualization (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V)
- Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity
- Backup & Recovery Solutions
- Experience with hybrid cloud and infrastructure transformation initiatives.
- Strong financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning experience.
- Excellent executive communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP Certification (Required/Preferred)
- PgMP Certification
- Agile/Scrum Certification
- ITIL Foundation Certification
- Experience working with Fortune 500 enterprise customers.
- Knowledge of DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), and automation tools.
- Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, MS Project, and Power BI.
