The Opportunity

StaffRight Associates is recruiting for a Digital Transformation Consultant to join a top-tier information management systems provider in a partially remote role based in Secaucus, NJ. The client serves healthcare, government, higher education, finance, legal, and HR organizations, with capabilities ranging from digitization and sophisticated data capture to workflow automation, archiving of legacy data, document management platforms, governance and compliance, advanced analytics, and business process management, complemented by records storage, scanning, and physical document services. It operates with a broad national presence and international facilities.

The Digital Transformation Consultant will take the helm of the client’s RFP function and turn it into a genuine competitive differentiator. Beyond running proposal development from start to finish, this leader will set the overall RFP strategy: choosing which opportunities to chase, sharpening how each response stands apart, and building a repeatable record of wins. The position blends strategic vision with hands-on leadership, influencing go-to-market choices while ensuring flawless delivery. It’s a chance to join a growing organization and a valued client partner of StaffRight Associates.

What You’ll Do

  • Engage directly in RFP responses, pre-sales demonstrations, and discovery phases of client engagements.
  • Lead proposal development end to end while owning the broader RFP strategy and prioritizing the most winnable pursuits.
  • Differentiate every submission to build a consistent track record of wins.
  • Craft compelling messaging around productized offerings and proven best practices.
  • Steer executive stakeholders away from requests for custom builds and toward scalable, standardized adoption.
  • Collaborate tightly with the Sales, Product, and Implementation groups.
  • Connect RFP efforts to broader company growth goals and help shape go-to-market decisions.
  • Stay involved across solution alignment and scoping; system configuration sits outside this role’s ownership.

What You Bring

Required

  • 3–5 years of experience in Pre-Sales, Complex Software Solution Consulting, or Enterprise Discovery
  • Hands-on background in RFP Cycle Management and navigating Enterprise Buying Dynamics
  • Deep expertise in Capture Management, RFP Strategy, and Sales Enablement
  • Strong Sales Acumen and/or well-developed Program Management instincts
  • Demonstrated confidence leading stakeholders toward Best Practice Adoption
  • Polished Executive Communication skills and a commanding presence with senior leaders
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship; the client will not sponsor visas
  • Regional candidates only; relocation assistance is not provided

Preferred

  • Master’s degree
  • Software Industry Experience

Compensation & Total Rewards

  • Salary: $165,000–$170,000 USD annually
  • Additional compensation: Bonus
  • Engagement: Full-time, direct hire; partially remote, based in Secaucus, NJ
