Lead Data Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Lead Data Architect in Souderton, PA.

Responsibilities:
* Design and build end-to-end data architecture integrating siloed systems into trusted, business-ready datasets and data marts
* Develop conceptual, logical, physical, and dimensional data models for reporting and analytics
* Build and maintain ETL/integration pipelines, including mappings and documentation
* Establish data standards for modeling, naming, lineage, documentation, and quality
* Implement data quality controls, monitoring, and issue remediation
* Design and support master/reference data solutions for consistency including golden records and hierarchies
* Deliver scalable, secure Azure and Microsoft data solutions
* Translate business and AI requirements into data architecture and usable data assets
* Ensure compliance with security, privacy, retention, and regulatory requirements

REQUIREMENTS:
* 8+ years of experience in data architecture, engineering, modeling, or enterprise data management
* Strong data modeling expertise across dimensional, relational, and semantic models with analytics-ready data marts
* Hands-on experience with Azure/Microsoft data platforms including Synapse, Fabric, Data Factory, Databricks, SQL Server, Power BI or similar
* Proven ability to design and build scalable ETL pipelines and data integration workflows
* Experience implementing data governance including metadata, lineage, data quality, and documentation
* Advanced SQL skills with experience designing structures for analytics, BI, and reporting
* Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence outcomes without over-engineering
* Experience in financial services or other regulated environments preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
