Summary

Role Title: Clinical Informaticist

The Select Group is looking for a talented Clinical Informatic Analyst to join one of our top healthcare partners. This person will be joining the Clinical Informatics Team to help with inpatient and ambulatory needs. This role bridges clinical operations and health information technology by supporting the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of Epic systems, specifically in the inpatient care setting.

CLINICAL INFORMATIC ANALYST REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Informatics, or a related clinical field required.
  • RN or other licensed clinical background strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an inpatient setting.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience working in clinical informatics or EHR optimization (Epic experience preferred).
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows, healthcare regulations, and patient safety practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bonus skill: Epic Optime experience

CLINICAL INFORMATIC ANALYST RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with clinical and IT teams to optimize workflows and documentation within the EHR system (primarily Epic).
  • Analyze current inpatient clinical processes and recommend digital solutions to improve safety, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Provide EHR training, go-live support, and ongoing education to clinical staff and leadership.
  • Monitor data integrity, user satisfaction, and adoption rates, providing feedback to system analysts and leadership.
  • Serve as a liaison between clinical end-users and technical teams to ensure system changes reflect clinical needs.
  • Participate in testing, validation, and rollout of new system functionality or upgrades.
  • Stay informed on clinical informatics best practices, compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA), and industry trends.
