Job Summary

The Epic Radiant Analyst with Scheduling experience is responsible for the design, build, configuration, testing, and support of the Epic Radiant module, with a focus on imaging workflows and integrated scheduling processes. This role collaborates with clinical, technical, and operational teams to optimize system functionality, ensure accurate patient scheduling, and enhance imaging services. The analyst will serve as a subject matter expert for Radiology and Scheduling workflows, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities

·        System Analysis & Configuration

·        Design, configure, and maintain Epic Radiant and integrated scheduling workflows.

·        Build and optimize imaging order entry, work queues, scheduling templates, and resources.

·        Maintain dictionaries, profiles, and other system components to support radiology and scheduling operations.

·        Implementation & Upgrades

·        Participate in Epic system implementations, upgrades, and enhancement projects.

·        Conduct system and integrated testing for new functionality, fixes, and updates.

·        Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

·        Partner with Radiology, Scheduling, Clinical, and IT teams to understand operational needs and translate them into Epic solutions.

·        Serve as liaison between technical teams and clinical staff for workflow optimization.

·        Compliance & Documentation

·        Ensure system workflows align with regulatory standards, billing compliance, and organizational policies.

·        Maintain system documentation, configuration records, and workflow guides

 

Requirements & Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

·        Minimum of 2–4 years of experience as an Epic Analyst, with at least 1+ year supporting Epic Radiant.

·        Demonstrated experience with Epic Scheduling build, configuration, and support.

·        Current Epic Radiant Certification.

·        Knowledge of healthcare workflows, especially radiology and imaging services.

·        Strong skills in system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clinical and technical stakeholders

 

Preferred traits:

·        Additional Epic certifications (e.g., Epic Cadence, Prelude, or Referrals).

·        Experience integrating Radiant with third-party imaging systems (PACS, RIS, DICOM, HL7).

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

·        Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

·        Collaborative mindset with proven experience working across clinical and IT teams.

·        Adaptability and eagerness to learn new Epic modules and healthcare IT solutions.
