Program Manager ,M&A integrations

TPM (Technical Program Manager) consultant should be a generalist with M&A process experience and ability to handle ambiguity, they mean the following:
1. Generalist
· The consultant should not be limited to one technology or function. Instead, they should be able to work across multiple domains such as:
· Engineering / Product
· IT systems (CRM, ERP, Data)
· Infrastructure
· Business operations
· A generalist TPM can connect different teams and understand the overall program, even if they are not a deep technical specialist in every area.
2. M&A Process Experience
· This refers to Merger & Acquisition integration work, such as:
· Integrating systems after a company acquisition
· Aligning CRM, ERP, HR, finance, and data platforms.
· Handling Day-1 readiness, Day-30, Day-90 integration milestones
· Coordinating IT and business teams during company mergers.
· Basically, they should know how companies combine technology, processes, and teams after a merger.
3. Ability to Handle Ambiguity
In M&A environments:
· Requirements may not be clearly defined
· Systems and processes may change frequently
· Stakeholders may have conflicting priorities
· A good TPM should be able to:
· Clarify unclear requirements
· Drive decisions
· Create structure where things are uncertain
· Keep the program moving despite incomplete information.
