Sr. ServiceNow Developer - ITSM
Primary Location: Madison, WI
V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Sr. ServiceNow Developer – ITSM for our premier client in Madison, WI.
Education and Experience:
- 8+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development.
- Experience with update sets, application deployment, testing, and platform upgrades.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Strong experience implementing and enhancing ServiceNow ITSM in an enterprise environment
- Hands-on experience with Service Catalog, Flow Designer, and integration development.
- Working knowledge of CMDB concepts, configuration item relationships, and their role in Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
- Strong understanding of ITIL service management processes.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot complex issues and communicate clearly with technical and business stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency with JavaScript, server-side and client-side scripting and ServiceNow APIs.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and support ServiceNow ITSM capabilities, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management
- Develop and troubleshoot integrations with enterprise applications using REST/SOAP APIs, import sets, and transform maps.
- Support CMDB data quality and relationships used by ITSM processes, collaborating with asset management and discovery teams.
- Partner with stakeholders to clarify requirements, recommend solutions, and estimate development effort.
- Troubleshoot complex platform issues, improve performance, and resolve production defects.
- Build and enhance Service Catalog items, record producers, approval processes, and automated fulfillment workflows.
- Develop Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, and other platform components using JavaScript and ServiceNow APIs.
- Support testing, releases, platform upgrades, and remediation of skipped changes.
- Apply platform development standards, access controls, and security practices appropriate to an insurance environment.
