Position: Sr. Autodesk Upgrade Engineer / Architect
Location: Remote EST
Duration: 6 12+ Months
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end Autodesk upgrade and migration projects across enterprise environments.
Plan and execute version upgrades for Autodesk applications including AutoCAD, Vault, Revit, Inventor, and related platforms.
Perform installation, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of Autodesk environments.
Conduct system assessments and recommend modernization strategies for existing platforms.
Manage data migration activities while ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime.
Collaborate with infrastructure, engineering, and business teams to support upgrade initiatives.
Configure integrations with enterprise systems such as ERP, PLM, and other third-party applications.
Develop upgrade procedures, technical documentation, rollback plans, and support processes.
Troubleshoot system issues and provide post-upgrade production support.
Create automation scripts where applicable to streamline deployment and maintenance processes.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience working with Autodesk products and solutions.
Strong experience with Autodesk Vault, AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, or Autodesk ecosystem products.
Hands-on experience performing system upgrades, migrations, and implementations.
Experience with SQL Server administration and database migration activities.
Knowledge of Windows Server environments and system administration.
Experience with data migration and validation processes.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience integrating Autodesk products with ERP/PLM systems.
Experience with PowerShell, Python, or automation scripting.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments.
Autodesk certifications are preferred.
