No remote or telecommute optionESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFollowing is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
Own and oversee complex projects throughout the established project lifecycle including but not limited to requirements confirmation, process change documentation, creating test scenarios, test conditions and test data if applicable, load test cases into the enterprise test management tool Rally, execution of test, peer reviews, complete test documentation for sign off and transition to BAU. To execute the life cycle of these projects, the resource must perform multiple or all of the activities below:
1. Participate in the assessment of the upstream system changes that impact Accounting and Reconcilement
2. Coordinate process workflow for intake documentation of potential testing initiatives to verify downstream impact and specific testing needs
3. Liaise with other teams to identify dependencies and support risk and issue management across workstreams
4. Facilitate meetings and/or working sessions with stakeholders to validate testing needs and downstream impact
5. Execute test scenarios and cases utilizing a variety of finance and accounting systems developed by the project lead and senior analyst for projects with a variety of complexity
6. Record, manage and drive resolution of pertinent issues, escalating to the Implementation Manager and Senior Analyst where necessary
7. Obtain stakeholder sign-off for production deployment following successful test execution, data validation, and issue resolution
8. Identify risks and issues and escalate to test management team timely. Assist the test manager and senior test analyst to mitigate the risks and addressing the issues
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent education and related training
2. 2-3 years of experience on a project team, testing with financial systems
Preferred Qualifications:1. Experience in the following:
a. Finance and Accounting
b. SAP Financials (ECC)
c. Blackline reconciliation
d. Rally or Jira
e. Working on an Agile team
f. PMP Certification
