Job Description
We are seeking an SAFe Agile Scrum Master role with strong JIRA to join our dynamic team supporting ATM delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Agile and SAFe practices and a proven ability to coach teams, remove impediments, and drive predictable delivery outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Guide and coach one or more teams on Scrum practices and Agile principles.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews/Demos, and Retrospectives.
- Operate within a Scaled Agile model to lead team-level pre-planning and PI Planning and represent the team in Scrum of Scrums and ART syncs.
- Help define and uphold team agreements including Definition of Ready and Definition of Done.
- Ensure a healthy product and Sprint backlog in partnership with the Product Owner.
- Facilitate dependency management, risk management, and impediment removal.
- Measure delivery, maturity, and performance using meaningful metrics and drive continuous improvement.
- When needed, step in as Product Owner support to assist with creation of Epics and User Stories.
- Support BoFA MRA compliance for JIRA Epics and User Stories.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient JIRA skills for backlog management, reporting, and compliance workflows.
- SAFe training or certification with practical experience in PI events and ART ceremonies.
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder communication abilities.
- Experience leading 1-2 Scrum teams, preferably in financial services or ATM domains.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with scaled planning, cross-team dependency management, and Scrum of Scrums.
- Familiarity with compliance-driven delivery and metric frameworks.
Role Logistics
- Approved location: Charlotte, NC.
- Start month: November.
- Onsite expectation: Hybrid, minimum three days onsite per week.
- Interview process: One to two rounds, video or in person.
- Max submissions per vendor: Three.
