Summary

Job Summary:

- Enhance and maintain existing Master Data Management (MDM) APIs, services, integrations, and related support structures in a customized enterprise environment.
- Implement changes to endpoints, payloads, business rules, and service behaviors to meet operational needs, resolve issues, and enable incremental improvements.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and support remediation for jobs, interfaces, payloads, and data movement.
- Create, update, and maintain data objects or structures for publishing trusted MDM outputs to downstream analytics and reporting environments.
- Collaborate with business analysts, technical leads, and cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and resolve support issues.
- Document technical changes, troubleshooting procedures, support patterns, and implementation details to enhance maintainability and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in testing, deployment, defect resolution, and operational support for changes within the MDM environment.
- Adhere to established security, privacy, and data handling protocols, especially for HIPAA-sensitive and regulated information.
- Responsibly use approved AI-assisted development tools for debugging, code review, testing, and documentation, ensuring engineering standards and accountability.
- Support the adoption and integration of new MDM-related capabilities delivered by internal or external partners.
- Leverage experience in software/backend development, integration, and production support, particularly with APIs and data-processing applications.
- Utilize working knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and structured development practices.
- Operate effectively in environments handling sensitive healthcare or human services data, following HIPAA and privacy guidelines.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or within a team in a high-demand setting.
- Preferred: Experience with MDM platforms (e.g., IBM InfoSphere MDM), healthcare or public-sector data domains, and familiarity with cloud analytics platforms (AWS, Snowflake, Tableau).
- Preferred: Experience supporting heavily customized or legacy enterprise systems and using AI-assisted development practices to enhance productivity.
