DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between software development and IT operations, ensuring seamless deployment and integration of applications. You will work closely with developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to enhance our development and production environments, automate processes, and improve overall efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate the deployment process.
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable software releases.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability of applications.
• Design and implement monitoring and logging solutions to provide visibility into the application and infrastructure performance.
• Ensure compliance with security and compliance standards in all DevOps processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Document processes and maintain comprehensive documentation for all DevOps practices and tools.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Ability to write scripts in languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar.
• Familiarity with security and compliance best practices in DevOps.
• Knowledge of service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, or similar.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and best practices.
• Experience with serverless computing platforms such as AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, or similar.
