Hours and Pay


  • Pay Rate: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday

  • Shift: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM (2nd Shift)

  • Position Type: Full-time temporary assignment with the potential to convert to a full-time employee

  • Work Location: Onsite in Bedford, Massachusetts (near Boston)

Daily Responsibilities


  • Perform inspections of medical device components and finished products according to documented quality procedures

  • Conduct dimensional and visual inspections using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and comparators

  • Identify and document nonconforming materials in accordance with quality control procedures

  • Maintain full traceability of products and components throughout the inspection process

  • Ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with cleanroom and manufacturing standards

  • Communicate quality concerns, inspection findings, and documentation to supervisors and relevant departments


Requirements


  • Formal technical training or equivalent hands-on experience in a manufacturing, inspection, or quality control role preferred

  • Experience working in laboratory, manufacturing, or cleanroom environments

  • Proficiency with precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, and comparators

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings

  • Experience with data reporting and non-conformance reports (NCRs)

  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-motivated with a desire to grow professionally
