What We Need

Corpay is hiring a Manager of Business Consultants to lead a team and serve as the technical and functional subject matter expert (SME) for our Payments and Invoice Automation SaaS platform. This role blends solution architecture, business process design, implementation guidance, and internal enablement.

You will manage a team of Business Consultants that supports complex customer implementations, guide solution design decisions, train and enable Project Managers, and partner cross-functionally with Sales, Relationship Managers, and Product to drive adoption, expansion, and successful delivery.

  • Assigned workspace in Brentwood, TN

Role Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Management
  • Managing the Business Consultant team and overseeing API implementations with the integration team
  • Serving as the technical escalation point and SME for all product implementations on Corpay Complete
  • Training and mentoring project managers on platform architecture, configuration, common implementation patterns, and edge cases

Solution Design & Implementation
  • Joining client calls with Project Managers to define requirements, design solutions, and validate platform fit
  • Translating customer workflows into scalable technical configurations and repeatable implementation patterns
  • Advising customers on best practices for approval workflows, invoice processing, controls, and automation
  • Identifying technical constraints, risks, and optimization opportunities early in the implementation lifecycle

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partnering with Sales and Relationship Managers to support revenue retention, expansion, and upsell efforts by aligning customer needs with platform capabilities
  • Providing direct feedback to Product and Engineering based on real-world customer implementations to improve the platform
  • Partnering with Product to define best practices and implementation guidance for new features
  • Supporting internal adoption of platform enhancements at launch

Enablement & Training
  • Developing and delivering enablement materials and structured training programs
  • Leading internal readiness review and training for new product features in collaboration with Product
  • Removing product roadblocks by guiding clients to better solutions

Qualifications & Skills
  • 6+ years of technical experience OR BA/BS + 4+ years related experience
  • 2+ years of people management or team leadership experience
  • Strong domain expertise in AP automation, including payments (ACH, card, wire, virtual card), invoice automation, AP/AR, or financial workflow automation
  • Experience acting as a technical SME for complex customer implementations
  • Proven experience supporting or owning revenue outcomes for a customer portfolio
  • Strong understanding of business process design and system integration
  • Experience training, mentoring, or enabling delivery teams
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Experience
  • ERP integrations (NetSuite, Sage, QuickBooks, Business Central, and Acumatica)
  • Payments compliance, risk, or financial operations exposure
  • Experience supporting product launches or major platform releases
  • Background in high-growth Fintech or SaaS environments
