Senior Infrastructure Engineer Location: Chantilly, VA

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer plays a critical role in managing and maintaining datacenter infrastructure supporting enterprise operations. This position is responsible for servers, networking, storage systems, and datacenter operations to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.
The role includes hands-on configuration of Cisco networking equipment, HPE and Dell servers, and advanced storage solutions, along with datacenter planning, power management, and infrastructure documentation.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain datacenter infrastructure
Configure Cisco switches and firewalls
Support HPE and Dell server environments
Manage enterprise storage systems including NAS platforms
Maintain copper and fiber cabling infrastructure
Monitor infrastructure performance and reliability
Support datacenter power and cooling capacity planning
Optimize resource utilization within the datacenter
Create rack diagrams and infrastructure documentation
Map physical connections and network layouts
Support hardware installations and upgrades
Troubleshoot infrastructure and connectivity issues
Ensure high availability of datacenter systems
