Job Description- Senior Manager, IT Infrastructure

Job Summary

The Senior Manager, IT Infrastructure is responsible for leading the design, implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of the organization's IT infrastructure. This role oversees infrastructure teams, ensures the availability, performance, scalability, and security of IT systems, and aligns infrastructure services with business objectives. The position manages data centers, cloud environments, networks, servers, storage, and end-user computing services while driving operational excellence and strategic technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage IT infrastructure operations, including servers, storage, networks, cloud platforms, and data center environments.
• Develop and execute infrastructure strategies aligned with business and technology goals.
• Ensure high availability, performance, reliability, and security of IT infrastructure services.
• Manage infrastructure projects, upgrades, migrations, and technology refresh initiatives.
• Oversee capacity planning, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity processes.
• Establish and maintain infrastructure standards, policies, and operational procedures.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, licensing, and service delivery performance.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, application, and business teams to support organizational requirements.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Develop and manage infrastructure budgets, forecasts, and resource plans.
• Lead, mentor, and develop infrastructure teams and technical specialists.
• Drive cloud adoption, automation, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8–12+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, systems administration, network management, or related areas.
• 3–5+ years of leadership or people management experience.
• Strong knowledge of server, storage, virtualization, networking, cloud, and infrastructure technologies.
• Experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure environments.
• Understanding of IT service management and operational best practices.
• Strong project, budget, vendor, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with infrastructure automation, monitoring, and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and compliance frameworks.
