Location: ONSITE in Urbandale, IA (Des Moines)
Duration: 1+ year to LONG term
Rate: up to $90/hr on OUR W2

Sr. Software Engineer with strong Scala experience:
- Looking for STRONG Senior Scala backend developer preferably with AWS Cloud experience
- Candidates must have strong verbal communication skills and be able to describe their experience in details and explain their thought process in how they solve certain problems.
- A coding exercise is required as part of the interview process.
- Position will be onsite until further notice
JOB DUTIES: Working within an Agile team, develop scalable backend software, using TDD. Develop Scala/Java applications running in an AWS environment.
REQUIRED experience:
*5+ years hands-on experience with Scala
*Profound insight of Scala Internals (Class loading, Memory Management, Concurrency, Futures, Multithreading.)
*Building low-latency & high volume, distributed, scalable and reliable backend systems
*RESTFul APIs
PREFERRED experience:
*AWS
*Cats Effect, Http4s, Fs2, Akka
*Spring
*Frontend experience a plus
*Deere experience a plus
