We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business objectives and technology solutions. You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing complex business requirements, designing innovative solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive successful project outcomes. Your insights and recommendations will directly influence strategic decisions and contribute to the overall growth and success of our organization.

Responsibilities and Required Skills: - Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple teams to elicit, document, analyze, and prioritize detailed business requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, measurable business outcomes, and portfolio-level objectives.
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes, systems, and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement, increased efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness contributing findings to executive-level reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Create comprehensive use cases, user stories, workflow diagrams, and functional specifications that effectively communicate business/user needs to both design and development teams, while ensuring traceability across the broader program portfolio.
- Work closely with design and development teams to translate business requirements into design and technical specifications, ensuring clear understanding and successful execution of projects.
- Facilitate and lead internal and external working sessions to gather information, identify pain points, resolve ambiguity, build consensus, and propose solutions that align with program-wide priorities.
- Partner with Project and Program Managers to maintain visibility into requirements status, scope changes, dependencies, risks, and delivery impacts across interdependent workstreams.
- Perform business and operational analysis to support decision-making, prioritization, risk evaluation, and solution recommendations.
- Apply structured analytical and problem-solving techniques to identify root causes, evaluate alternatives, and recommend scalable business and technical solutions.
- Provide thought leadership and strategic insights to drive innovation, process optimization, and business transformation.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to define testing strategies, test plans, and acceptance criteria, ensuring the quality, accuracy and business value of developed solutions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance, mentorship, and knowledge sharing to junior business analysts and team members.
- Communicate project progress, updates, and challenges to stakeholders, and leadership, and management.
- Prepare and deliver concise, targeted presentations to various stakeholder groups and facilitate discussions with technical and non-technical stakeholder groups at varying organizational levels.
- Support Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog grooming, sprint reviews/demos and sprint retrospectives.
- Demonstrate the ability to independently manage complex initiatives from discovery through implementation and post-launch evaluation while balancing tactical execution with long-term business objectives.
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and work effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
- Must possess strong critical thinking, analytical problem-solving, organizational, facilitation, time management, and written/verbal communications skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences and translate business needs into actionable technical and operational solutions.
Required Education/Experience: - Advanced Education (Bachelors or Associates) Degree in related field of study
- 12+ years of professional experience
Preferred Skills: - Experience with business process modeling/reengineering, workflow analysis, current-state/future-state analysis, and requirements decomposition
- Facilitation/Training experience
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, data analysis/reporting tools, and business systems integrations
- Experience with relevant agile tracking software(e.g. DevOps, Jira, Rally or VersionOne)
- Ability to work closely with designers to create clickable prototypes
- Advanced level experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Visio
- Experience working with or configuring productivity and collaboration software: (e.g. Teams, SharePoint, Zoom, Viva Topics)
- Prior experience documenting and formatting product development deliverables (e.g. User Story documents, User Guides, training documentation and presentations)
- Experience documenting and formatting product design deliverables (e.g. personas, information architecture, user journeys and flows)
- Basic wireframing and/or image editing skills related to visually communicating high level, low fidelity product direction
- Knowledgeable of web, iOS and Android designs, standards, features, and functions
- Prior experience supporting quality assurance activities, including writing, and executing test scripts
- Prior experience developing or managing eCommerce, mobile, or web applications
- Prior Government or IT Consulting experience
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) or other Business Analysis Certification
