Summary

Job Summary The Storage Engineer is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing enterprise storage platforms to ensure high availability and performance. This role supports daily operations, manages storage lifecycle activities, and collaborates with internal teams and external vendors in a production environment. Key Responsibilities Administer and support enterprise storage platforms, including Dell and Pure systems Troubleshoot storage-related issues using command-line tools and system utilities Manage incident tickets and provide timely resolution within defined processes Perform lifecycle management activities such as hardware decommissioning Collaborate with engineering teams and external vendors to resolve technical issues Participate in technical discussions and vendor support calls Monitor storage performance and ensure system stability and availability Support lift-and-shift initiatives and cloud-related storage tasks Participate in on-call rotation and support production environments as required Required Qualifications 25 years of experience in storage administration Hands-on experience with storage platforms such as Dell or Pure Experience working in a ticketing-based support environment Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with command-line tools Bachelors degree in a computer-related field or equivalent experience Strong communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with storage technologies such as Hitachi or Brocade Experience with hardware decommissioning processes Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform Experience working in enterprise or operations-focused environments Education: Bachelors Degree
