Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Health Log Analytics Specialist with strong expertise in configuring and managing logging and monitoring capabilities within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Health Log Analytics (HLA), Sys Log ingestion, and log analysis, along with a solid understanding of observability and monitoring best practices.
This role requires a techno-functional professional who can work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, combining hands-on configuration with strategic advisory support. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable proactive monitoring, alerting, and issue detection across systems.
The selected candidate will play a key role in enhancing logging strategies, improving operational visibility, and ensuring efficient identification and resolution of system issues.
Key Responsibilities
· Configure and manage ServiceNow Health Log Analytics (HLA)
· Implement and monitor Sys Log ingestion and logging capabilities within ServiceNow
· Design and configure alerts, thresholds, and anomaly detection rules
· Analyze logs to identify patterns, anomalies, and potential operational risks
· Collaborate with internal teams to translate monitoring requirements into actionable alerts
· Provide guidance on logging strategy and best practices within the ServiceNow platform
· Ensure effective observability and proactive issue detection across systems
· Support continuous improvement of monitoring and alerting frameworks
Required Qualifications
· Hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform (Administrator or Developer)
· Strong knowledge of ServiceNow logging, Sys Log, and log analysis
· Experience configuring alerts, thresholds, and monitoring rules
· Ability to work in a techno-functional role (hands-on + advisory)
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with ServiceNow ITOM, AIOps, and Health Log Analytics (HLA)
· Background in log analytics or observability tools such as Splunk, ELK, or Datadog
· Understanding of monitoring frameworks and enterprise observability practices
