Job Title: Senior Data Analyst
Location: Santa Clara, CA - Hybrid (3 days/week onsite)
Duration: Contract - 5+ months
Pay Rate Range: $90.00 to $100.00 per hour on W2
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain production-grade financial models using Python in Jupyter Notebooks
- Translate complex Excel-based LRP and driver-based models into scalable Python solutions
- Develop Monte Carlo simulations, including distribution modeling and scenario analysis (P10/P50/P90)
- Design and implement lightweight ETL/ELT pipelines and SQL-based data extraction processes
- Perform variance analysis and automate financial insights through structured outputs and reporting
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with Python financial modeling (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy) in Jupyter Notebooks
- Strong expertise in Excel-based LRP or driver-based financial models and model conversion
- Proficiency in SQL and building data pipelines (Airflow, Prefect, dbt, or similar tools preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
