Description
We are looking for an experienced Director of Technology to lead our technical operations and drive innovation within our organization. In this role, you will oversee IT architecture, guide strategic data management initiatives, and ensure the seamless functioning of cloud-based systems. You will also manage a talented team of Developers and an Administrative Assistant while fostering collaboration with external vendors.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain IT architecture strategies, ensuring optimal utilization of cloud platforms and data management systems.
Lead and mentor a team of Developers and administrative staff, encouraging attention to detail and operational efficiency.
Oversee vendor relationships to ensure alignment with organizational goals and quality service delivery.
Establish and enforce standards and best practices for software development and IT operations.
Serve as the primary technical advisor, providing hands-on support when necessary to resolve escalations and technical challenges.
Monitor and improve the performance and reliability of IT systems, ensuring data availability and security.
Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to enhance technology solutions that support organizational scaling.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical strategies with business objectives.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards related to IT and data management.
Implement and refine processes to streamline operations and reduce friction across technical workflows.
Requirements
Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a strong track record of managing teams and technical operations.
Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud-based system management.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and its applications.
Extensive experience in data management and strategic utilization.
Strong ability to build and maintain vendor relationships to support IT initiatives.
In-depth understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and best practices.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to develop systems that scale effectively.
Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills to guide teams and manage escalations.
