Crew product owner associates co-create software products using Agile methods by representing the needs of the business and customers. Crew product owner associates collaborate with developers, user experience professionals, and data analysts to prioritize work and to assess outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Understanding business needs and translating them into Business Requirements Documentation (BRD)
Collaborate with developers to create and maintain technical documentation for business systems essential to the successful completion of operational responsibilities and requiring integration of product design, administrative systems and regulatory requirements
Develop in-depth understanding of complex insurance and annuity product features and requirements
Develop product expertise for all lines of business
Document processes, analysis performed, and business systems built or modified
Participate in scrum ceremonies and user story refinements
Qualifications:
Understanding of Life and Annuities product rules and business processes
Life and Annuities product development experience with a Policy Administration System; ALIP Product Configuration is preferable
Advocate of Agile practices and culture
Four year degree in Technical discipline, Engineering, Business, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, related field, or equivalent experience
Technology, Business, and Project certifications preferred
The salary range for this role is $65,000 to $95,000 or the hourly equivalent.
