Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Cloud Developer with strong expertise in modern cloud technologies, full-stack application development, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, developing, deploying, and supporting scalable enterprise applications using AWS, Node.js, React.js (or Angular), Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.

This role requires a highly motivated professional capable of leading technical initiatives, mentoring development teams, collaborating with business stakeholders, and delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud-native solutions throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Required Experience

7+ years of professional software development experience
5+ years of hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
7+ years of experience with Node.js
5+ years of experience with React.js
Strong experience with Angular is also acceptable
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)

Required Technical Skills

Cloud & Infrastructure

Extensive experience designing and deploying applications on AWS
Experience with cloud-native architectures and serverless technologies
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
Experience with cloud networking, IAM, security, monitoring, and deployment automation
Experience with Google Cloud Platform or another major cloud provider is a plus

Full Stack Development

Expert-level experience with Node.js
Strong experience with React.js and/or Angular
JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
RESTful API development
Microservices architecture
API integration and backend service development

Develop REST APIs and backend services supporting enterprise business applications.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
Participate throughout the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Cloud & DevOps

Deploy applications to AWS using CI/CD pipelines.
Implement automated build, testing, deployment, and release processes using Jenkins.
Build and maintain Docker container environments.
Optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability, security, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Monitor production environments and implement operational improvements.

Technical Leadership

Lead technical design discussions and architecture reviews.
Mentor junior and mid-level developers.
Provide technical guidance and best practices across development teams.
Assist in project estimation, planning, and technical decision-making.
Drive ownership of application architecture and solution delivery.

Agile Delivery

Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Project Managers, Business Analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders.
Participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Manage assigned tasks independently while meeting project timelines.
Identify project risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

Requirements & Analysis

Participate in customer discovery and planning sessions.
Gather and analyze business and technical requirements.
Perform solution gap analysis.
Develop technical specifications and implementation plans.
Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

Quality Assurance

Develop unit tests following Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles.
Participate in integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
Review code to ensure maintainability, security, and performance.
Improve overall software quality through continuous improvement initiatives.

Operational Support

Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
Evaluate application performance and implement enhancements.
Develop monitoring, logging, and alerting capabilities.
Maintain operational documentation, knowledge bases, and support playbooks.
Provide training and technical guidance to users and support teams.

7+ years of professional software engineering experience
Strong expertise with:

Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases
Experience with cloud infrastructure and deployments
Experience building scalable enterprise web applications
Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies
