IT Operations Consultant

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Palm Beach Gardens, FL that is seeking an IT Operations Consultant.

The IT Operations Consultant is responsible for the direction, analysis and continuous improvement of the following disciplines:
* Timely and effective PC hardware and software asset management processes and delivery.
* On-time and successful completion of IT Operations' audit deliverables
* Coordination of Performance & Capacity Planning Health Check reviews and action item completion with Business Unit points of contact
* Workstation patching, compliance and vulnerability reduction
* System and Configuration Item (CI) transition to operations (TTO)
* Incident Management/Major Incident Management
* Problem Management - root cause analyses and continuous improvement in system reliability
* Works with monitoring engineers to continuously improve issue prediction and detection, as well as incident avoidance and automated response
* Driving effective utilization of IT Operations' Jira Issue and Risk repositories to prioritize work and achieve positive outcomes

REQUIREMENTS:
* To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
* Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
