Role: Oracle DBA

Location: Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid, locals only)

Duration: 12+ Months

Must Have:

Oracle RAC
Shell Scripting
Oracle Cloud

Requirements:

Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle Database software (11g 19c)
Manage Oracle database environments in enterprise production settings
Maintain database health, availability, and reliability
Design, implement, and maintain Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters)
Configure and support Oracle Data Guard environments
Implement GoldenGate for replication and data integration
Ensure maximum availability and failover readiness
Perform performance analysis using AWR, ASH, and ADDM
Conduct SQL tuning and optimize database workloads
Identify and resolve database bottlenecks
Develop and maintain RMAN backup strategies
Perform backup validation and recovery testing
Ensure data integrity and minimal data loss objectives
Implement database security controls and access management
Apply patches and security updates
Configure encryption and auditing standards

Mentorship & Support:

Provide 24x7 production and on-call support
Troubleshoot critical database incidents
Mentor and guide junior DBA team members
Contribute to automation initiatives

Requirements:

Experience

7 10+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA
Experience supporting enterprise-level production environments

Technical Expertise

Oracle RAC
ASM
RMAN
Data Guard
Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)
GoldenGate (preferred)

Operating Systems

Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix environments

Scripting & Automation

Experience with Shell scripting (Bash)
Knowledge of Perl or Python for automation

Cloud Experience

Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or AWS RDS for Oracle

Early response is appreciated.... 
 In compliance with the salary transparency law, the expected pay range for this role is $40-50/hr.. Actual compensation depends on experience and interview evaluation.
