Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP SD Consultant with strong expertise in credit card processing and payment handling within SAP environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional knowledge of SAP SD processes, hands-on experience integrating payment gateways, and the ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical stakeholders in a client-facing, onshore role.

This position requires expertise in end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes with a strong focus on secure and compliant credit card/payment processing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP SD configuration, enhancements, and support across:
• Order-to-Cash (OTC) lifecycle
• Pricing, billing, and invoicing
• Credit management and payment processing
• Design and implement credit card processing solutions within SAP SD, including:
• Authorization and settlement processes
• Refunds and chargebacks
• Integration with external payment gateways and third-party processors
• Collaborate with FI, MM, and technical teams to ensure seamless end-to-end payment flow and reconciliation.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to:
• Gather and analyze requirements
• Provide functional solutions
• Translate business needs into system design
• Support UAT, defect resolution, and post-go-live production support related to SD and payment processes.
• Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS and other security standards related to credit card data handling.
• Prepare and maintain functional documentation including:
• Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)
• Functional Specification Documents (FSDs)
• Test scripts and training materials
• Provide mentorship to junior consultants and participate in solution reviews and best-practice discussions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP SD.
• Strong expertise in credit card and payment processing within SAP.
• Experience with payment gateway integrations, authorization flows, settlements, and reconciliation.
• Solid understanding of:
• Order-to-Cash (OTC) cycle
• Pricing procedures
• Billing processes
• Credit management
• Experience integrating SAP SD with SAP FI (Accounts Receivable, payments, reconciliation).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working directly with US-based clients in an onshore environment.
• Ability to coordinate across time zones and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Exposure to high-volume transaction environments such as:
• Retail
• E-commerce
• Subscription-based billing
• Prior consulting or client-facing experience.
• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements related to payment processing

Nice to Have

• Experience working with payment service providers such as:
• Stripe
• CyberSource
• Adyen
• PayPal
• Understanding of fraud management, dispute handling, and chargeback lifecycle processes.
