Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP Data Lead to manage and oversee data preparation, cleansing, validation, and migration activities for SAP implementation and transformation programs. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to ensure high-quality, accurate, and migration-ready data aligned with SAP S/4HANA requirements.
This role requires strong expertise in SAP data structures, data migration processes, and enterprise data governance, ensuring successful system implementation and business continuity.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end SAP data preparation activities including data identification, extraction, cleansing, validation, and migration readiness
Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify data sources, data ownership, and data quality requirements
Prepare and validate master data and transactional data including:
o Customer Master Data
o Vendor Master Data
o Material Master Data
o Finance Master Data
o Inventory and Transactional Data
Perform data profiling, cleansing, normalization, and enrichment to ensure high data quality
Coordinate data migration activities using SAP tools such as Migration Cockpit, LSMW, and other data migration tools
Validate migrated data and ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency
Identify and resolve data issues, inconsistencies, and data quality gaps
Support data mapping, transformation logic, and functional data validation
Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams during implementation, testing, and go-live phases
Prepare data migration documentation, validation reports, and audit support documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 10+ years of experience in SAP data preparation, data migration, or SAP functional roles
Strong understanding of SAP master data and transactional data structures
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA data migration tools such as Migration Cockpit and LSMW
Experience preparing data for SAP implementations, upgrades, or transformation programs
Strong knowledge of SAP modules such as MM, SD, FICO, and EWM from a data perspective
Experience in data validation, data cleansing, and data quality management
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience working in enterprise SAP implementation environments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects
Experience with SAP data governance and data quality tools
SAP certification in relevant functional areas is preferred
Experience in large-scale SAP transformation programs
Familiarity with Agile methodology
Education:
Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
