Summary

Job Title: Improvement Sciences Specialist

Location: Washington, D.C.

Duration: 12+ Contract

Schedule: 3-Days Onsite & 2-Days Remote

Clearance: Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one.



Job Description:

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

  • Experience in a DoD or military health system environment.
  • Bachelor s degree in Healthcare Administration, Statistics, or a related scientific field.
  • 6+ years of experience applying improvement methodologies and leading projects, ideally in a relevant industry (experience requirements scale with seniority).
  • Strong understanding of improvement methodologies including Lean, Six Sigma, PDSA/PDCA, and Change Management.
  • Proficiency in data analysis (statistical software), problem-solving, and root cause analysis.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), facilitation, and training skills.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Teams, MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Access), Power BI, and Adobe Acrobat.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master s degree in a relevant field.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • PMP certification or other relevant professional certifications.
  • Experience with SharePoint administration, SPIDR, or similar knowledge management platforms.
