THE JOB (Daily Duties):-
- Administer the build out and support of DB2 LUW databases.
- Perform capacity planning, cluster set up, performance tuning and monitoring.
- Configures and maintains security for databases and focuses on automation to streamline tasks and manage the environment.
- Do performance tuning, problem diagnosis and resolution, and participate in multi-discipline triage of enterprise-wide incidents.
- Administers and troubleshoots ETL Processes for decision support stores and Data warehouses.
- Participates in 24x7 production on-call rotation and provides support for production issues.
- Identifies and initiates resolutions to user problems/concerns associated with DB2 LUW functionality.
Required Skills Need:-
- Must have 12+ years of experience working for US companies in the US.
- Must have 4 years plus of recent (With in the last 4 years) Banking or brokerage experience since 2019.
- Must have a ‘Valid and Active’ IBM DBA/DB2 LUW certification and present it when submitting the resume.
- Must have Extensive experience with DB2 LUW Version 9.7, 10.5.
- Must have extensive HADR/Q-Replication experience.
- Must have IBM Change Data Capture experience.
- IBM Change Data Capture experience desired.
- Expert with multiple languages and tools
- Must have experience with salt scripting.
