Summary

When this team introduced the App Store, it launched a cultural and economic phenomenon that changed the way people live, work, and play. These engineers and dedicated Program Managers continue to innovate the platform, now home to over 1.5 million apps - each created using the team's own software development kit and related services. All those apps mean the store takes billions of requests from more than 500 million visitors every week, across iOS, macOS, tvOS, iPadOS, and watchOS. To deliver such a rich experience at this scale, Program Managers partner with the engineers to build high-performance systems backed up by robust testing. In a world where apps have become essential in people's daily lives, the App Store team has become essential to Apple's business.\\n

We are seeking an innovative Program Manager, to join our App Store Internal Tools team. We work on internal tools to enable producers, editors, app reviewers, business analysts, and support teams to deliver the best App Store experience for our customers worldwide. This position is responsible for facilitating the development of new workflows and ongoing improvements to the production tools within the App Store. You will lead all aspects of multiple concurrent projects and features including scope, requirements, timelines, resource allocation tracking, stakeholder management, communications, and risk assessments. You will define business, functional, and reporting requirements, often writing them yourself. Your role will be critical to improving how App Store features are reviewed, built, and executed.

5+ years of technical program and/or project management experience involving complex server/client architecture.\nA track record of building products by driving collaboration across product, design, engineering, QA, Ops, and other key stakeholders.\nBachelor's degree in Business or Computing Discipline or equivalent industry experience.

Excellent organization skills, acute attention to detail, ability to balance multiple tasks in a constantly evolving environment.\nAn extraordinary communicator at all levels of the organization with a knack for encouraging positive relationships.\nDemonstrated ability to take ownership and drive multiple tasks to completion with minimal oversight, showing strong self-motivation and accountability.\nStrong facilitation skills (requirements gathering, design reviews, cross-functional stakeholder meetings, reporting status, and schedules).\nWillingness to adapt to a highly demanding, team-oriented, and fast-paced environment with rapidly changing direction and new challenges.\nExperience interacting with or using task management and workflow systems is a major plus.
