Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking an IT Relationship Manager on behalf of our client in New York, NY. This role will serve as a strategic liaison between business divisions and IT teams, ensuring technology solutions align with operational goals and organizational priorities. The ideal candidate will have strong stakeholder management, project governance, and technology advisory experience within enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary IT point of contact for assigned business units.

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand business objectives and technology needs.

  • Collaborate with leadership teams to align IT initiatives with divisional priorities.

  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.

  • Escalate critical issues and risks to senior leadership when necessary.

Technology Strategy & Advisory

  • Recommend technology solutions and platforms aligned with business goals.

  • Support IT roadmap planning and strategic technology initiatives.

  • Conduct market research and comparative analysis of technology solutions.

  • Evaluate software and technology requests to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.

Project Governance & Delivery

  • Support project intake, prioritization, and governance processes.

  • Partner with business teams to assess project value, complexity, and implementation feasibility.

  • Assist with cost estimation, procurement planning, and implementation strategies.

  • Lead governance meetings and provide visibility into ongoing IT initiatives and project status.

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Organize and facilitate meetings with clear agendas, action items, and follow-up documentation.

  • Foster a collaborative environment that promotes communication and knowledge sharing.

  • Track and report on key IT performance metrics and operational KPIs.

  • Support enterprise-wide IT engagement initiatives, training sessions, and internal programs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Systems Analysis, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in at least two IT disciplines, such as:

    • Infrastructure Architecture

    • Application Development

    • Network Management

    • Middleware

    • Database Management

    • Cloud Technologies

  • Experience working with enterprise technologies, platforms, and diverse IT environments.

  • Strong understanding of emerging technology trends and enterprise IT strategies.

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, product management practices, and SDLC processes.

  • Proven experience in IT Relationship Management, Solution Management, Demand Management, or Customer Success roles.

  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with IT governance and portfolio management.

  • Exposure to process automation and performance reporting tools.

  • Public sector or large enterprise environment experience is a plus.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
