Job description:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in Billing, Order-to-Cash (O2C), Accounts Receivable, and Revenue Assurance processes.
• Strong hands-on experience with RecVue Billing Platform for invoice generation, validation, and billing lifecycle management.
• Expertise in Avalara Comms Tax / ECMS for communications tax calculation, validation, and compliance.
• Experience managing customer invoicing through BillView and other billing portals.
• Strong understanding of telecom/communications taxes, surcharges, regulatory fees, and tax compliance requirements.
• Perform end-to-end billing tax validation and reconciliation between RecVue, Avalara, and financial systems.
• Investigate billing and tax discrepancies, conduct root cause analysis, and drive issue resolution.
• Support complex billing models including subscription-based, recurring, and usage-based billing.
• Experience with Accounts Receivable, invoice adjustments, credit/rebill processing, and payment issue resolution.
• Validate tax rules, product mappings, billing configurations, and rate structures.
• Collaborate with Finance, Tax, Operations, IT, and Customer Support teams to resolve billing and tax exceptions.
• Manage customer billing disputes, invoice rejections, and compliance-related inquiries.
• Prepare billing accuracy, tax variance, reconciliation, and exception management reports.
• Support month-end close activities, financial reconciliations, and audit requirements.
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls, internal policies, and regulatory standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Experience in Telecom, SaaS, Subscription Billing, or Communications industry environments preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business, or related field.
