Job Title: Director, Strategic Pricing & Analytics

Location: Remote (U.S.)

Travel: Occasional travel required, approximately 1-2 times annually.

About the Opportunity

Our client is A leading healthcare services organization seeking an experienced Director, Strategic Pricing & Analytics to lead payer contract modeling, reimbursement analytics, pricing strategy, and data-driven decision support initiatives. This leadership role will partner closely with executive leadership, finance, operations, revenue cycle, and contracting teams to optimize reimbursement performance and support strategic business growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for a healthcare analytics leader with strong expertise in payer contract modeling, ambulatory surgery center reimbursement methodologies, and advanced Excel-based financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead payer contract modeling activities, including development, maintenance, governance, and enhancement of reimbursement models.
• Provide strategic analytical support for payer negotiations, reimbursement optimization, and pricing initiatives.
• Serve as a hands-on leader, actively participating in complex financial and reimbursement analyses while mentoring and developing team members.
• Direct chargemaster governance and pricing strategies to support compliance, revenue integrity, and reimbursement performance.
• Develop and enhance price transparency reporting, dashboards, and market intelligence capabilities.
• Oversee data aggregation, validation, and analysis to support executive decision-making.
• Establish standards and controls to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across modeling and analytics functions.
• Support acquisition, integration, and expansion activities through pricing, reimbursement, and contract analysis expertise.
• Deliver actionable insights through ad hoc analyses, reporting, and financial modeling.
• Drive continuous improvement of analytical processes, tools, reporting capabilities, and team development.

Required Qualifications

Must-Have Experience

• Payer contract modeling expertise
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) reimbursement and contract methodology knowledge
• Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement methodologies and managed care contracting.
• Experience developing complex financial models and analyzing large healthcare datasets.
• Ability to translate analytical findings into actionable business recommendations.
• Experience presenting insights and recommendations to executive and senior leadership audiences.
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing analytics teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with healthcare pricing strategy, chargemaster management, and price transparency initiatives.
• Experience with relational databases, reporting tools, and healthcare analytics platforms.
• Advanced degree (MBA, MHA, or similar) preferred.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of healthcare analytics, reimbursement, pricing, or managed care experience.
• Prior experience working with ASC reimbursement and payer contract methodologies strongly preferred.
• Expertise in Excel-based modeling, financial analysis, reporting, and analytics.
• Prior people leadership experience required.
