We have an urgent need for an Apache Doris Infrastructure Engineer for a fulltime onsite opportunity in Sunnyvale, CA. This role is focused on building and supporting highly scalable distributed data infrastructure and cloud-native platform services within enterprise-grade environments. The selected candidate will work on advanced infrastructure engineering initiatives involving Apache Doris, distributed systems, cloud integrations, and high-availability platform development.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable infrastructure solutions centered around Apache Doris and distributed data systems. The role involves developing highly available platform services, building API-driven infrastructure components, and supporting large-scale cloud-based deployments across AWS and Google Cloud Platform environments. Candidates will collaborate with engineering teams to design resilient architectures, optimize distributed database performance, and support event streaming and messaging systems such as Apache Kafka. The selected professional will contribute to infrastructure automation, cloud API integrations, system reliability improvements, and backend platform engineering while leveraging strong system design and algorithmic problem-solving capabilities.
Required skill sets include strong expertise in Apache Doris, distributed systems, data structures and algorithms, and system design principles. Candidates should possess hands-on experience building and interacting with cloud APIs for AWS and Google Cloud Platform along with strong understanding of highly available software services and platform infrastructure. Experience designing and maintaining API-driven services, distributed databases, and event streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka is highly preferred. Strong programming expertise in Python or Golang along with problem-solving and infrastructure engineering experience is essential for this role.
