Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Snowflake Administrator with hands-on experience in Databricks to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will manage, optimize, and maintain Snowflake data warehouses, implement best practices for cloud data management, and collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to support large-scale data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain Snowflake data warehouse environments.
• Manage and optimize Databricks workloads for ETL, data transformation, and analytics.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune Snowflake performance and Databricks pipelines.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Implement and maintain data security, access controls, and governance policies.
• Develop automation scripts for data pipelines and environment management (Python, SQL, or Scala).
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on Snowflake and Databricks best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and enhancements in cloud data platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Snowflake Administrator or Architect.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Spark, and large-scale ETL processes.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, and/or Scala.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Expertise in data modeling, performance tuning, and optimization in Snowflake.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
