About the Role:
We are looking for a seasoned Azure Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of cloud-based data solutions. You will define data strategies, build scalable architectures, and guide teams in leveraging Microsoft Azure for analytics, data lakes, and data warehousing.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimize Azure data platforms (Synapse, Data Lake, Databricks, SQL, Cosmos DB).
• Lead migration of on-premises data systems to Azure Cloud.
• Establish data modeling, ETL/ELT, and governance standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver secure, high-performance, and scalable data solutions.
• Mentor data engineers and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Monitor system performance and optimize for cost, efficiency, and reliability.

Required Skills:

• Expertise in Azure Data Services: Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, SQL, ETL/ELT, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience with big data frameworks: Spark, Hadoop, or similar.
• Familiarity with data governance, data security, and metadata management.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, or Scala.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred:

• Azure certifications: Data Engineer Associate or Solutions Architect Expert.
• Experience with AI/ML integration or multi-cloud environments.
