Systems Analyst / Senior Java Full-Stack Developer

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Systems Analyst / Senior Java Full-Stack Developer to support the development of a new enterprise system within a Java 21 / Angular programming environment and SQL Server 2019/2022 database infrastructure.

This role requires strong expertise across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), the ability to understand complex business processes, and experience translating requirements gathered through Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions into secure, scalable application components.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes and system requirements to design and develop a new enterprise application

• Translate high-level requirements and JAD session outcomes into functional application components

• Plan, organize, integrate, and implement system interfaces, scheduled jobs, features, and workflows

• Adhere to established project control processes, procedures, and change control standards

• Provide technical leadership within the project team and to internal and external stakeholders

• Collaborate with business users, IT staff, and leadership throughout the SDLC

• Identify and resolve technical issues and recommend mitigation strategies

• Develop and execute test plans, including positive and negative test scenarios

• Document system design, developed code, workflows, and test results

• Support deployment and implementation planning

• Report progress, risks, and deliverables clearly to the Project Manager

• Participate in project meetings, workshops, and stakeholder sessions

• Support knowledge transfer to maintenance and operations teams

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related IT field

• 12+ years of experience in SDLC and large-scale IT system development

• Strong experience analyzing detailed requirements and producing technical documentation

• Experience programming and implementing enterprise-level systems

Front-End / UI-UX

• Angular (modern versions)

• Modern UI/UX design principles

• Material Design 3, Fluent UI, or custom design systems

• Responsive design across devices

• Section 508 accessibility compliance

• State management using NgRx, NGXS, or Signals

Back-End Engineering (Java)
