Job Title: Business Consultant Enterprise Architect
Location: Newark, NJ”. [Hybrid]
Key Responsibilities:
Direct and support enterprise integration, authentication, and data migration efforts across business applications, platforms, and technology services.
Define, coordinate, and govern application integration activities to ensure they support enterprise architecture goals and future-state technology direction.
Partner with Business Analysts, business users, and functional stakeholders to capture requirements, confirm business priorities, and translate needs into practical technology solutions.
Provide architecture guidance across workplace technology, enterprise applications, network services, identity platforms, access management capabilities, and Microsoft 365 / O365 services.
Evaluate current-state environments to identify application, infrastructure, identity, data, and business dependencies that may impact migration or transformation delivery.
Document dependencies, risks, assumptions, integration points, and business impacts for large-scale technology change programs.
Review and assess risks associated with system integrations, authentication models, data conversion, data movement, and application modernization.
Recommend mitigation strategies to reduce delivery risk, improve solution quality, and support successful implementation.
Ensure architecture recommendations and technical decisions follow enterprise standards, governance practices, security controls, and approved target-state designs.
Confirm that proposed solutions are aligned with staged rollout plans, including multi-wave implementation schedules.
Work collaboratively with program managers, solution architects, infrastructure teams, cybersecurity groups, application owners, IAM teams, and business representatives to drive execution.
Advise teams on integration approaches, interoperability requirements, data exchange methods, system interfaces, and identity/access management design.
Participate in architecture governance forums by reviewing solution designs, identifying gaps, and ensuring compliance with enterprise architecture principles.
Support transformation, migration, modernization, and platform consolidation activities from planning through implementation
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture, systems integration, data migration, identity and access management, application modernization, or related IT functions.
Demonstrated experience leading or contributing to enterprise integration, authentication, and data migration initiatives in large and complex environments.
Strong understanding of enterprise architecture methodologies, governance processes, technology standards, and roadmap planning.
Experience working with business stakeholders, Business Analysts, project managers, architects, infrastructure teams, security teams, and application teams.
Ability to analyze complex technical landscapes and identify dependencies, risks, constraints, and business impacts.
Experience supporting enterprise transformation, migration, modernization, or digital enablement programs.
Working knowledge of enterprise platforms and services such as Workday, Salesforce / SFDC, and Microsoft 365 / O365.
Strong communication, documentation, analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills
