job summary:
The role itself is evolving from a traditional project management into more of a Scrum Lead position. At a high level, this person would lead Scrum ceremonies, help manage the backlog, and serve as a key liaison with the business. While there may be some project management responsibilities, the emphasis is on team leadership, facilitating communication, and guiding overall workflow. This individual will help direct priorities, manage trade-offs, and support a team of about ten people-essentially acting as an overseer to keep everything running smoothly and efficiently.
From a qualifications standpoint, we're ideally looking for someone with approximately 5-8 years of experience. A senior candidate could also be a robust fit. While deep technical expertise isn't required, familiarity with Agile practices-particularly Scrum leadership-is highly preferred. Robust communication skills, the ability to facilitate meetings, and a polished, professional presence are all important. Experience with metrics, dashboards, and maintaining team performance and morale would also be valuable.

Stakeholder Management: Maintains transparent communications, aligns priorities across time zones, and negotiates trade-offs.
Flow & Improvement: Uses metrics (cycle time, throughput, etc.) to remove blockers and improve flow.
