OverviewWe are seeking a Sr. Director, Technology Product Management - Data & AI to lead the technical product strategy, roadmap, and delivery of enterprise Data, Analytics, AI, and Generative AI platform capabilities. Reporting to the Head of Engineering/Technology, Data & AI, this leader will partner across technology, business, and product teams to deliver secure, scalable, reusable, and governed platforms that accelerate adoption and business value across the company.
The ideal candidate is a strategic, technically credible product leader who can bridge vertical product needs with platform engineering execution. They bring a strong platform mindset, deep experience in data and AI platforms, excellent executive communication skills, and the ability to balance innovation, speed, security, governance, and measurable business outcomes.
Essential Functions- Define and lead the strategy and roadmap for enterprise Data, Analytics, AI, and Generative AI platforms.
- Drive platforms from strategy through adoption, establishing clear outcomes, success metrics, adoption targets, and value realization measures.
- Lead the evolution of the enterprise Data & AI platforms, enabling secure, scalable, reusable, and governed capabilities across the enterprise. Balance innovation speed with enterprise-grade controls and operational discipline.
- Prioritize investments across foundational platforms, business/product use cases, technical debt, governance needs, and emerging technology opportunities. Evaluate tradeoffs and align stakeholders around roadmap decisions
- Translate business and product priorities into platform capabilities that enable analytics, automation, AI-driven decisioning, and intelligent digital experiences.
- Partner with engineering, data science, architecture, cybersecurity, privacy, legal, compliance, and business leaders to deliver secure and scalable platform capabilities
- Lead, coach, and develop technical product managers and partner closely with cross-functional product and engineering teams.
- Promote an operating model focused on customer outcomes, platform reuse, adoption, and continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications- Education and/or experience typically obtained through completion of a bachelors degree.
- Typically 15 or more years of related work experience including several of them managing team members
- Significant experience in technology product management, technical product leadership, enterprise platforms, or related technology roles.
- Proven experience defining and leading product strategy and roadmaps for complex, enterprise-scale technology platforms or products.
- Strong technical fluency and ability to engage effectively with engineering, architecture, security, and operations teams.
- Experience translating business needs into technical product capabilities, requirements, and delivery plans.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and align diverse teams around complex decisions.
- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, communication, and executive presentation skills.
- Experience balancing customer needs, platform scalability, technical feasibility, risk, security, and business value.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and create clarity across evolving priorities.
- Experience leading and developing technical product managers or cross-functional product teams.

Preferred Qualifications- Extensive leadership experience in technology product management, with a focus on data platforms, AI/ML, Generative AI, analytics, or enterprise platforms.
- Proven experience leading platform strategy and roadmaps for complex, enterprise-scale platforms.
- Knowledge of AI, machine learning, predictive analytics, automation, and Generative AI capabilities
- Understanding of modern data architecture, including data lakes, warehouses, lakehouses, pipelines, APIs, metadata, data governance, and data quality.
- Experience partnering with engineering and architecture teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives and align diverse stakeholders around complex technology decisions.
- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, communication, and executive presentation skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and drive clarity across emerging technology areas.
- Experience leading and developing technical product managers or cross-functional product teams.

The base pay scale for this position in:
Phoenix, AZ/ Chicago, IL in USD per year is: $206,000 - $275,000.
San Francisco, CA in USD per year is: $248,000 - $330,000.
Additionally, candidates are eligible for a discretionary incentive plan and benefits.

Physical RequirementsWorking conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours.
