Role: SAP S/4HANA Brownfield Migration Consultant / System Conversion Expert
Location: Remote PST TIME ZONE

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced SAP Brownfield Migration Expert with strong hands-on expertise in SUM (Software Update Manager) and DMO (Database Migration Option) for SAP ECC to S/4HANA system conversion projects.

The consultant will be responsible for leading and executing brownfield SAP migrations (system conversions), upgrading existing SAP ECC environments to SAP S/4HANA while preserving existing configurations, customizations, and business processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong experience with SAP ECC to S/4HANA Brownfield Migration / System Conversion
Hands-on expertise with SUM (Software Update Manager)
Strong knowledge of DMO (Database Migration Option)
Experience performing SAP S/4HANA upgrades and migrations
Experience with SAP Readiness Check, Simplification Item Checks, and Pre-Conversion activities
Strong understanding of SAP HANA database migration
Experience with technical conversion activities using SUM/DMO
Knowledge of SAP Basis administration and S/4HANA architecture
Experience handling SPDD/SPAU adjustments
Experience with post-conversion validation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
Ability to work with functional teams during S/4HANA conversion projects

Preferred Qualifications:

SAP S/4HANA System Conversion certification preferred
Experience with multiple ECC to S/4HANA migration projects
Strong troubleshooting skills in large SAP landscapes
Experience with production cutover and hypercare support

Key Responsibilities:

Execute end-to-end SAP ECC to S/4HANA brownfield conversion activities
Perform SUM/DMO upgrades and migration tasks
Analyze system readiness and resolve technical blockers
Coordinate with Basis, functional, and business teams
Support testing, cutover planning, and go-live activities
