Marketing AI Automation and Workflow Engineer with Claude Code OR Cursor
About This Role
In this role, you will partner closely with marketing managers, growth engineers, data analysts, and product teams to build, improve, and QA AI-powered agents and skills that automate workflows across company marketing ecosystem. Your contributions will directly accelerate how teams build campaigns, analyze performance, troubleshoot issues, and manage data — replacing hours of manual work with reliable,
AI-driven automation.
We have an established and growing ecosystem of 50+ AI skills and multi-step agents built on Claude Code and Cursor, covering campaign operations, audience building, data querying, QA, legal pre-checks, content
audits, performance reporting, and more. You will work hands-on with the teams who use these tools daily — understanding their pain points, improving existing skills, building new ones, and ensuring quality
across the board.
This role requires strong experience working with AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar), comfort with SQL and data pipelines, and the ability to translate messy, cross-functional workflows into
structured, repeatable automations.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include
- Building new skills and agents that automate marketing, analytics, and operational workflows — from campaign creation to performance reporting to legal review
- QA-ing and improving existing skills — testing edge cases, improving prompt quality, fixing data pipeline issues, and ensuring outputs are accurate and reliable
- Partnering with stakeholders (marketers, analysts, engineers) to identify high-impact workflow bottlenecks and translate them into AI skill specifications
- Writing and optimizing SQL for BigQuery-backed skills that query campaign performance, audience segmentation, tracking events, and member data
- Contributing to the skill platform itself — improving the skill builder, evaluation pipeline, distribution system, and governance framework
- Documenting and onboarding — helping team members adopt AI tools effectively and writing clear skill documentation
This Role Is Notable For
Its directly measurable impact on operational efficiency across a marketing organization serving over 130 million members. You will be part of a fast-moving team that is defining how AI assistants integrate into
enterprise marketing workflows — not as a proof of concept, but as production tooling used daily by 50+ team members. The work is highly cross-functional and offers the opportunity to shape how AI-driven
automation scales across company.
Role Requirements
- 2–5 years of professional experience in software engineering, data engineering, analytics engineering, or a related technical field
- Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants — specifically Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools. You should be comfortable prompting, debugging, and building with these tools daily
- Strong SQL skills (Google BigQuery preferred) and familiarity with data pipelines and ETL concepts
- Experience with GitHub (version control, PRs, CI/CD)
- Excellent communication skills — you''ll be working directly with non-technical marketers and translating their needs into technical solutions
- Ability to work on multiple initiatives concurrently in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort with ambiguity — many workflows are partially documented or tribal knowledge; you''ll need to investigate, ask questions, and figure things out
Nice to Have
- Experience building or maintaining LLM-based agents or multi-step AI workflows
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (campaign targeting, audience segmentation, A/B testing)
- Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers or tool-use architectures
- Experience with Playwright or similar browser automation for QA
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, GCS, IAM)
- Background in prompt engineering or AI evaluation/red-teaming
