Job Title: Project Manager General
Location: Walnut Creek, California (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated professional to lead and oversee multi-discipline engineering projects focused on Transmission & Substation Projects from concept through completion. Our team plays a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and with the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Manage safety, planning, siting, permitting, estimating, engineering, procurement, project controls, and closeout activities throughout all project phases.
- Develop and monitor project schedules, control scope and costs, and ensure overall client satisfaction through effective communication and coordination.
- Establish and lead project teams, organize internal and external risk reviews, and ensure compliance with all internal QA/QC guidelines and project controls systems.
- Identify and pursue new client opportunities, participate in proposals, presentations, and support business development efforts while mentoring less experienced staff.
Required:
- Bachelor s degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 7 years of related experience in design engineering, including at least 3 years managing engineering projects (completion of a master s degree in a related field may be substituted for one year of experience).
- Proven success in project management, including the ability to develop business and establish strong client relationships.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong experience in document control, scheduling, cost control, and project management software.
