IT Product Manager – Demand Planning

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Product Manager – Demand Planning to serve as the IT Product Owner for global Integrated Business Planning (IBP) demand planning platforms.

The ideal candidate will own the demand planning technology portfolio end-to-end, including strategy, roadmap, implementation, platform lifecycle, forecasting capabilities, data integration, and vendor management.

This role will work closely with Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, and Technology teams to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the technology strategy and roadmap for enterprise demand planning platforms.
• Partner with business leaders to identify capability gaps, develop business cases, and prioritize investments.
• Own the product roadmap, backlog, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead Agile ceremonies and make prioritization and delivery trade-off decisions.
• Lead demand planning technology projects through design, configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
• Manage the complete IT product lifecycle, including upgrades, releases, environments, governance, support models, and TCO.
• Partner with demand planning and analytics teams to implement:
  • Statistical forecasting
  • Machine learning forecasting
  • Demand sensing
  • Hierarchical forecasting and reconciliation
  • Exception-based planning
• Drive improvements in forecast accuracy and planner efficiency.
• Oversee demand planning data, including:
  • Master data and hierarchies
  • Shipment/order/consumption history
  • POS and syndicated data
  • Promotional and pricing data
  • New Product Introduction (NPI) data
• Manage integrations between demand planning platforms, ERP, data warehouses, cloud data platforms, and downstream supply systems.
• Manage software vendors and third-party support partners.
• Define SLAs, support models, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior business and technology leadership.

Required Qualifications

Demand Planning & Forecasting

• Extensive experience delivering and supporting enterprise demand planning and forecasting technology.
• Must have completed at least one full implementation or major upgrade from design through go-live and hypercare.
• Previous ownership of a demand planning, forecasting capability, product line, or related business process.
• Strong hands-on experience with enterprise demand planning platforms.
